The “Direct Primary Care” (DPC) healthcare model is not a new concept! In the DPC model, the patient and provider relationship is front and center… the way it used to be. You pay a monthly fee directly to your provider’s office. Your provider works for you, not for your insurer. Your provider also isn’t beholden to the service prices set by an insurer, which means services and procedures are almost always provided at a rate that is astronomically lower than they would be when billed through insurance. At Hope Family Medicine, we set our own prices, and our goal is to make healthcare affordable and accessible. In an insurance-based healthcare model, the prices that you pay for every covered service are negotiated between your insurance provider and your healthcare provider. In a DPC model, the price is set by your doctor and is often much lower than insurance pricing.

Meet the Provider
Craig Hope FNP-C
Craig earned his Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practioner from California State University, Sonoma. Since then, he has worked in Family Medicine where he has treated a large range of chronic diseases daily. Craig has also spent time working in an Urgent Care setting where he mainly treated acute illnesses and injuries, performed sports, DOT, and pre-employment physicals.
